About Nia

Starting her career at Mt. Nebo A.M.E. Church in College Station, Ar, Tania Renee Kelley (aka) Nia Renee has always devoted herself to singing.  At the young age of 8 years old she joined a community theatre organization called Artist United. Tania has always enjoyed storytelling and sharing her big imagination and dreams with others.


Tania showed her passion for the arts and took things a step further and joined the amazing Arkansas Repertory Theatre.  Tania has been apart of the Repertory theatre since 2014.  She joined the Summer Intense Program where she went on to receive lead roles.  Also, performed a duet at the Repertorys largest fundraiser “Saints and Sinners, performed a Solo for Save the Rep campaign, invited to perform at the Repertory Season Reveal and so many other opportunities have been provided.


Tania joined 4H of Pulaski County in 2016 and was apart of the Congressional Award Kickoff held at the Governors Mansion 2018.  This was an amazing experience for her because this organization allowed her to sing in Washington DC at the Washington National professional baseball game on June 22, 2018 ( one of my proudest moments yet) .  Tania was asked to sing the National Anthem and have since then song the Anthem for many organizations.  To name a few, she has song for Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) in Baltimore, MD, Farm Bureau Officers and Leaders Conference in Rogers,  Ar.,  Forrest Wood Cup in Hot Springs, Ar and KTHV Channel 11 in Little Rock.  Tania has performed at local and state competitions talent shows in 4H and won 1st place in both.  


Tania attends Little Rock Central High School where she is an Spotlight and honor student with a 3.5 GPA.  She is apart of an Honor choir  “Madrigals” , All Region and All State Choir for Central.  Tania is also apart of the Drama department and land one of the lead roles in the Musical “ Bring It On” as Nautica, Spring of 2018 and Fall of 2018 Feature lead role as Delores Van Cartier in “Sister Act the Musical”.  She is a lead vocalist for the Jazz band at her school and a vocalist for the Art Porter “Minors for Music” jazz band.


Tania has been apart of her community in many performances such as Martin Luther King Day solo performance, background singer for  Gospel great Kierra Sheard, Little Rock performance, NAACP 73rd State Convention solo performance , ACT-SO 2018 National level Competition San Antonio,TX, Little Rock School District Convocation performance, Pulaski County School District Driver/Aide start up performance,


Tania is inspired to do great things with her newest and greatest role offered in 2018-2019 season “ Madama Butterfly” with Opera In the Rock!

Madama Butterfly will be presented in Italian with English supertitles on May 17 & 19, 2019 with the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra at the historic Arkansas Repertory Theatre in Little Rock, Ar.  Tania received the role as The Cousin - Puccini’s Madama Butterfly where she is the youngest featured artist.
